An awesome line-up of Grammy Award winners and super vocalists sat in with me and my band, Groove Planet, on May 15th at The Brown Street Club in Greenville, SC. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Don Felder, lead guitarist for The Eagles, and saxophone legend, Branford Marsalis, both graced our stage and wowed the crowd with “Pride and Joy” and “Take It Easy.” Later, Branford stayed with us for our version of Bobby Caldwell’s “What You Won’t Do For Love.” Then R&B recording artist, Javier Colon, made his own mark on “Superstitious” by Stevie Wonder. For this girl, it was one of the most memorable performances I’ve had to date. I look forward to many more just like this.
